These spawns are fucking stupid. I shot over 1500 arrows and wasted an ungodly amount of time doing it. Plus, wall of stone? Really? This thing looks like a pug fucked a fish and took steroids. Why the hell would it have the intellect to cast anything? Not to mention its the size of a juggernaut and moves the same speed as a dark lancer.
Also, there’s absolutely no benefit to killing them beyond the same loot as any ol world boss. Maybe if there was 5 dex mods, a nag staff, a dream bow, and a fucking blowjob at the end of this dark tunnel, i’d get it.
If the admins actually give any damn about the shard anymore, they could prove it by removing this stupid monstrosity.

Problem before was that these higher bosses had both higher quantity AND higher quality of items dropped. Which made every lesser boss seem like a waste of time. When the loot was tuned to match their level for all bosses suddenly the harder ones just drop the same stuff as everything else, world bosses having the same quantity across the board while regular bosses drop fewer items but everything is of the same quality.
Would make sense to let the bosses that have much higher stats drop more loot, while leaving the quality as it is. If blue slaad dropped as many items as 2 weaker world bosses it would make sense to kill them. Same goes for nemesis and their kin.
Having some encounters be more difficult and enforcing group play is not a bad thing. Not adjusting the potential reward accordingly makes it kinda pointless though.
I might have the wrong idea about the current state of the loot for Slaad and nemesis though, might already be this way. Last time I checked it was not.

Blue Sload is an annoyance. Only real reason to kill them is to clear the spawn area for other bosses to spawn.
You can tell no one wants to kill them. At one point there were 4 of them spawned in commonly run zones.Buggy boss as well. Countless times he blocks himself off behind walls or in corners of dungeons where neither a ranger or mage can get LOS to attack it.
A solution would be to remove the waller ability and give him another ability. Maybe Ice Strike and Call Lightning, spells that match its color.

I was obviously a bit of an asshole when I first posted about this (the anger was fresh), but the message is the same.
Anyone else tired of pretending this spawn-sore isn’t a broken aggravation? Just me?
Is there some method to killing this bastard?Every time I run into one its at like 40% health from when some poor soul gave up too.

Oh wow… I so agree!!! Especially from a Ranger’s point of view… This damn thing disables all your ability for a shit tonne of arrows with little reward.

Poor Slaad. I liked the bosses that healed/changed their tactics as the fight went on, forces you to group up and work together. They gave extra loot so I always felt it was reasonable.
