How can people already be like lvl4 crafters after 3 weeks?

A couple of reasons I reckon.
– 24/7 macroing
– More efficient macros, we’re not 14 anymore and use UOloop and ghostmouse.
– I doubt anyone is lvl4 yet without items.
– Shard stability. It’s been pretty good overall. I’ve only missed out on like 20 hours of macroing since the shard has been up because of disconnects.October 15, 2017 at 12:54 pm #531NagashAdministratorAlso don’t forget the initial boost you get while starting a new character. But as Mosredna said, macro tools have become quite complex and can do allot of things like for example picking up certain strings in a journal and do something in response. These things will make your macroing much more efficient.

Also pretty sure the first ppl have had harvesting chars supplying them with resources. Because the least time efficient skill gains there is for crafter is arm’s lore and mining/lj… While you gain faster while burning through resources with the other skills.

I don’t get why you are suprised by that fact, personally im amazed that people still suck at this game after all these years 🙂 i have one combat class character and this crafter, so i have not been using other characters to gather the resources, both mining and lumberjacking are at 121-125 currently. It is like nagash is saying, its all about the macros and how you set them up aswell and your choices regarding what is more time efficient.

Dude I hit level 9 like 2 weeks ago because my I use nitro in my macros.
If anyone wants a Kat o Kieri let me know. I made 30 of them this morning with my mind.

Damn I must have been losing out on macro time far more than I expected. Just got to 120 mining and been at around 122 LJ for a little while. But I am pretty far from lv4. Maybe getting some decent progress during the laggy week makes a lot of difference too, my crafter macros weren’t working very well then.
I don’t get how you can be surprised that people have different levels of experience and ambition because you played “all these years” tho, that’s just silly.
Also BTW, it was just under 2 weeks to lv4, not 3 weeks 🙂

It’s about setting efficient macro’s, but also about how you spend the time.
Do you bring you lore skill to 130, or leave it at 120 and use that time to get two other skills 110+.It’s easy to setup a lore macro and leave it running, but wont get you level first
October 16, 2017 at 5:20 pm #546DreamsAdministratorWell that’s one way of doing it lothar but actually the most efficient way would be to only loop your crafter skills one loop at the time and use arms lore in between the loops.
There is other examples like that where you train multiple skill during the same time because their skill timers are different. One would be Cooking for a loop then do one camping and at last do animal lore or track while shooting arrows. This would give you 4 skills at the same time that doesn’t require more time then doing one at the time of these skills and there is a lot of different setup like this one you could do.
