I’m not sure if this is a bug or intentional, but Exp Zulu BP gives more armor than Exp ETS despite it being lower quality on the ore list.
Wooden Kite shields also give more armour metal/ore crafted shields.
yeah, i remember zulu got buffed a few patches ago
Ah ok, any idea why tho?
Why? its quite logical if u think about it.
Zulu ore gives 0 prots, the GEMs give prots. Thats why the armor are higher on Zulu i believe.
I think I’m more annoyed that the wiki page isn’t updated to reflect the armor prots and quality.
Crafted tons of ETS breastplates to get an EXP one, just to realize that the existing EXP Zulu one was better.
Zulu does give +3 physical prot, but has a high dex penalty.
Zulu is pretty bad once you have other options.
For melee prot you want a jewel because that’s where you find lv6.
For armor you want GM since it has high armor, no dex pen and good prots.
RND on the other hand lets you get three lv3 prots from one item, freeing up other slots for more fun modifiers. It also has lower dex pen which is a nice bonus, fortified hats should give no penalty whatsoever.
As for metal shields I don’t know why the crafted ones have always sucked. Also wooden shields give no dex penalty. GM shields have been buffed though and are now rightfully better than all crafted alternatives.
