Hello,
I’ve been trying to level my bowcrafting doing this arrows, but looks like there’s something weird with this arrows.
Being spec 3 crafter with 115 bowcrafting I’ve just broken 60 sulfurous ashses trying to do Fire arrows, one by one. This means than in a loop of 60 trys I manage to success 0 times.
Fire Arrows requires 114 skill, so I should have managed to create some having 115 skill, so I can’t understand how I failed 60 times in a row when doing this arrows.
I performed a simple macro, unstackin every single sulfurosh ash 1 by 1, so in case of success only 1 arrow is created, and recorded with razor the use of dagger in pack of arrows and then selecting type of sulfous, the result, 60 broken, 0 success.
The screen show a skill requirement of 114, so is so strange.
Would you please check if there’s somethig weird with this?

I was probably DYING of hunger so I failed every try, but even so, I managed to do 300 fire arrows (1 by 1) with 115 skill (114 required) with no gain at all.
Is skill gain disabled when doing arrows?

gaguProbably? It doesn’t say how to gain skill at that point on the info vault, only that amount required to make… I would recommend just biting the bullet and go for heavy crossbows with better quality logs, regular logs to swamp logs, then emerald and you should be good.
