I keep getting Booted From Server, HELP!

Hey Nagash, I keep losing connection to the server as soon as I try to make a move after creating my char.. Do I have something wrong?

That’s strange. Try the following please. Try creating another character with a different name. Try using razor and uo steam. Try having someone else logon and move your character. Check if you have .net framework 4.0 installed.

I got kicked out after trying to change settings (UO just closed without an error message). And now it won’t let me login with UOS/Razor.

Does this still happen? Try setting the compatibility settings to Windows XP SP 3 on UOSteam and ZuluhotelOmega.exe. Are you getting stuck on verifying account?

If you are booted by the server this means you haven’t selected the right client in Razor.
It is selecting “2D client” and not your “ZuluHotelOmega.exe”.

That’s correct. You need to manually edit those as per the instructions in the Play now page.

For me, I have to pick the right one every time I use razor. Is there a chance to edit a list to default it?

Without more info i’m not sure if I can help. There haven’t been that many people with connection issues. I will need more details if you still feel like playing.

I see people are already at lvl 3. I think i’ll give it a pass. It was a nice idea, but not my cup of tea anymore. I was already annoyed when i had to eat all the time, then i was disconnected all the time. So nah, just let everyone enjoy themselves, but I’m too busy to be bothered irl. Never had time to setup macros or anything,

Don’t give up Sir Methlab. There must be a problem with your connection or how you are setting up razor or possibly reinstalling uo. Did you copy and replace all your omega files into your uo directory? We can figure this out if we just brainstorm it.

If someone still have problems with disconnects it can be as simple as changing your windows powersaving settings. Not allowing your computer to sleep, turn off hard drive etc.

Mine changed powersaving mode without reason once maybe yours did too, check it out and see if you find something.
