      We all know rangers Are top dogs here, now and have been. Maybe something to make the other classes have that edge we all want elsewhere.

      1. Talents — maybe at like 125 average skill in class, to offer a passive bonus to what you’re playing, from a small list of choices, for example:

      Mages
      – 15%/5% chance tic double/triple cast your currently casted spell
      – 40% chance to not use reagents in a cast
      – Allow currently equipped casting weapon to cast upon casting your current spell
      – 20% chance for a spell to crit for double
      – 25% chance for spell To bounce twice, each with diminishing returns

      Warrior
      – 25% chance to knock back with macefighting weapon
      – +20 one time boost to strength or dex
      – +15% chance to parry
      – A fatal hit upon the warrior restores half hp, cooldown once per 2 hours

      Thief
      – Max attack speed for 3 hits, cooldown half hour
      – Ability to poison armor only for yourself
      – Upon Death poisons all in a small aoe
      – attacks hit 3 targets

      Crafter
      – very small chance to add substantial prefix to crafted items
      – using a hammer on a transcendence scroll turns into a bag of random items
      – change a weapon into a random weapon type
      – increase chance of exceptional

      Just some ideas, any thoughts?

        Im sorry to give u this, but ranger isnt top dogs here, warriors are for sure.
        Im a ranger with 580+ dex and i cant kill a warrior with 130-140 str.
        So that statement about rangers being top dogs are wrong, atleast for pvp.

          Maybe this could be the way to integrate powerplayers, instead of levels just getting however many of these boosts.

          I didnt even think of PvP, maybe there could be something more exclusive to that. I thought of this from just a PvM standpoint.

            You have some really good ideas mate. I DO think the playingfield needs something to be leveled.

            For me it would already help an extreme load if mages and thiefs get a way to do some serious damage on bosses for example but you need actual strategy to do it. For example you first need to get rid of the magic reflect. then you need to put down (for example) an energy field and have the boss walk through it. This makes them vulnerable to (for example) paralyse and if you paralyse them they become vulnerable to feeble mind which makes them vulnerable to (some sort of) magic and you can then attack them until they cast magic reflect again. also paralyse spell makes them vulnerable to weaken and clumsy and curse so they become less of a threat and easier for the warrior to tank and kill.

            Something like that. this would make mages ACTUAL support characters in battle in stead of just stat boosters.
            also it would be a freaking awesome if they gave power players bonuses to stats and or skills so you can use more advanced strategies while still needing support of the specialist classes.

              That, is an awesome idea. That would make fighting bosses with a mage so damned fun!

                  Santaclaus makes a good point about mages. I will add it to the list and see if it can be done. As for Powerplayers, im not sure if that would be good. They already have the advantage of being able to use all skills.

                      Perhaps a new use for mined gems, maybe as an alternative currency? Or in the same vein as how enchanting exceptional items used to work? I feel like my ideas are just difficult to code or implement, is there a better way to approach new ideas with the developers/coding in mind?

                        I would beg for mages to be looked at also, they’ve really been given a hard time here IMO, and I come from a background of always playing a mage as a main.

                        Spell reflect on mobs is always up, what a damn pain – every time you exit\enter fov mob will put it back up requiring counter each time.

                        Teleporting mobs, highly unfair to mages, as with hiding archers – instant killing of the player is not challenging its just murder. Even when wearing level 6 physical you are dead of that mob Rel Pors. No bosses (yet) seem to dispel either, where lower mobs do (flayer, deathmag etc) so warriors\rangers never have to worry, but a mage just gets teleported onto, end of story so long byebye. Its just unfair.

                        The base spell book has been made weaker whereby, Flamestrike can no longer hurt Blackwisps as one example. But a weapon which casts flamestrike will affect the Wisp as it use to be. – This makes it even more a Requirement to have other books, which are just too rare that combined with everything else you can just as well shelve the mage.

                        Any summoned mobs are immediately dispelled on contact vs anything worth killing. Just makes it unusable.

                        Spell damage could use a good increase, we are very vulnerable and there should be balance.

                          Summon Daewmon works well sometimes, but I agree maybe there should be new aggression AI towards mages, but at the same time that could be abused if you’re hunting with others in another class. I’m all for mage buffs though.

                            need unset mage penalty on physical dmg …set to neutral … mage drop at one shoot, warrior can protects from mage , from physical – Holy Auras not help to mage….

                              Gem-style logs — some fancy new logs that have drop rates like ebon and the like. Give them a neat prot or cast on hit chance (like cure, holy bolt) for crafted shields.

                              New GM gear – it’d be cool to see some new weapons, it would encourage more people to hunt. Something that could affect the builds people make, like say a weapon that perma poisons you while equipped, but hits hard and casts wyvern strike. Or some two handed weapon that knocks back and casts a piercing decaying ray.

                              Limited Smeltable GM Armor — I love gm armor, it’s a staple of the Zulu brand. I’m thinking it should be smeltable, only craftable back to the armor pieces that are available, so like you could only make plate darkness and not ringmail darkness coif or some shit. Shields should not be included as craftable. Exceptionals though? Hell yeah!

                              Guild Titles fix – I think these are broken, I can’t name my guild mate “i’m Gay” and would love if it could be fixed.

                              Summon Holy Spirit holy book spell fix – is it supposed to just stand there and vanish upon issuing a command? I feel like there’s more to it?

                                I think a buff to void and piercing weapons would be good, they’re so weak compared to even power weapons. Piercing has no personality or viability in the field.

                                What if void weapons had a chance to steal 1-2 of each stat for a short period of time (5-10s), or had stacking damage with each successful hit? Or even drained hp per second in exchange for stealing hp with a higher damage modifier?

                                  At first i think we need to implement a new timing loot, as i tryed in the past like power hours or power weekends that you put on the website to tell people when to hunt. I think we need to get t2a back with better monster then what we have now. Like i saw on a shard, super boss come back every 24 or 48 hours there like 10 or 12 of those boss in the entire world, with specials attacks all differents, we need to be like 4 or 5 player’s of different classes to get those mobs killed.

                                  Put an area for newbies where they can macro easily or get resources without any damage. Put a thief system class to poison other’s weapons and have specials dungeons where is possible to open only with lockpicking skill.

                                  Powerscroll is not bad but pretty hard to find the rights one that we need and if you get one 1/5 or less work. We need to get the power scroll to be modifiable, like Warrior or Ranger or Mage powerscroll that way people can choose the skill they want to get unlocked. And if you find one there no way to dont work.

                                  Bards need to be verified, they can’t even hunt with people and some of their skills don’t work properly.

                                  Make Color wars or battle field auto tournaments work fine.Bash made by staff. Pvp tournaments with gift for winner’s and participants 😉

                                  Get more chances to get Different loot… in the loot we always find same things… jewels free action or bad poison prots , bard items or thief and there none of those classes on the shard for now. Like Some Luck items on your character status we can see the little green Clover, with items of Luck you can get More diced chances to get nice loot, and better chances when it’s power Hours or week ends.

                                  Get a Ranking of PvM points and PVP points written directly in first page of website poeple want to be the stronger one .Points you can collect to achieve specials items… like Gm items or Diced items.

                                  Get more stuff like The things you did with Nagash staff… like a robe for ranger give you 25 dex + 20% melee prot , -10 str, mage hat give you more intel and melee prot etc… things like that with all classes.. specials items like that.

                                  Assasin’s weapons , only good for pvp and to counter get prots for it.

                                  As you see i got a lot of ideas to try things… but if we don’t try anything we won’t know.

                                  Everybody wants a Win Win experience in everything… If they don’t win anything you will loose everyone. Let’s try to get people come back. Together or not but no time to lose to make a move.

                                    an option to reroll the ancient tomes would be cool, give it the same rate of failure as if you had just used it. maybe make the first use of it from 130-135 to be gaurenteed, and higher difficulty after that. i’ve failed at least 60% of all my tomes.

                                      i also like power hour, it’ll encourage more people to come out and get killed while people try to hold on to their loot.

                                        I like the power hour idea too. Was thinking from crafter point of view though. Perhaps increased chance of finding gems and more ore as well as increased chance of creating an exceptional armor piece during a power hour.
                                        Also finding better items in loot during the power hour.
                                        Seems to be an imbalance of items in loot. So much bard/thief stuff and little warrior/ranger/mage. Most of it is of no use and ends up trashed.
