      So, since the infovault doesn’t mention anything on this, I have to ask on the forum.

      I’ve made some lockable items to do lockpicking on. A simple chest of drawers(brown) according to Infovault has a 60 difficulty rating. I’ve put the item down in my house(this was a deeded item), try lockpicking on it and I keep on geting the message of “The Gods frown on picking this door!”

      Why is this?

        You’ll have to pick it up and pick the lock from your backpack. I think it’s to avoid people from picking locks in other people’s homes.
