.menuresponse command

Seeing as UOSteam has difficulties interacting with the old style gump menus, but is otherwise very convenient in terms of writing macros, would it be possible to add something like a “menuresponse” command to navigate crafting gumps? Perhaps add a similar thing to earth/necro/holybook (in Razor, these would be called “GumpResponse 102” for the second spell on the first page of the book, for example).
Adding such a command would make crafting possible via uosteam, which would be convenient. not sure how easy this is to implement, though.
