Anyone who doesn’t fulfill the requirement for any of the classes is considered a power player. If that makes it “a thing” I’m not sure, you might need to elaborate your question.

Ah. Well back in the day of ZH3 when classes were first introduced there were a lot of us like Neo, myself, Dr.Evil, Cinnamon etc who had put a LOT of time into macroing many different skills. It was deemed a bit unfair that the specialist classes that were about to be implemented were so much stronger with so much little effort so Zulu implemented the Power Player class. Which got a boost on everything if you got a certain amount of total skill points which came down to aproximately:
all skills >100 = PP lvl 1 (i think it was about 10% increase on all skills as bonus)
all skills >120 = PP lvl 2 (20% bonus)
all skills 130 = maxed out character = PP lvl 3 (40% bonus or something)March 27, 2018 at 2:17 pm #1191lonewolf

I think this idea has been mentioned by the devs, or someone at least, but never been implemented here. I agree that PP sounds like a lot of work for a weaker end result. But at least without a classe bonus you can pick and choose a bunch of skills you want to train and skip everything else.
It might even have taken a turn for the worse when the latest pvm buff to melee was warrior-exclusive and not a buff to plate or shield armor.

If I remember right, we had a lot of issues with the PP class and balancing it with the main class system which was the problem.. Difficult to get it right with skill bonus % vs the specialized classes with those same skills.
For the same reasons as Santaclaus, Ravnok was converted into a PP when that came out

I still think we should revamp the pp into a real class. There’s a thread for my ideas to introduce talents (like in dota, if anyone plays dota me know!), but also having penalties to pp’s.
This is a macro intensive shard, and I think lot of folks want an extended end game to their macroing. Sprucing up a pp could be that new horizon.
How can we propose an implementation for it without breaking the game?
