    Hi emma,

Try installing C++ redist. Also, ensure you set virtual memory around 4gb or so. I set myne around 10gb.

    Good luck!

Sorry, i don’t know enough about uos to help then.

All I can suggest is running the program as Windows xp service pack.

    Hope you get it sorted!

try what? Isnt this just a “backup” for some uo files?

Have you tried reinstalling UO and patching with the server patcher to see if that resolves the issue? The error message isn’t really specific to UOS being the problem and seems like a required .dll file isn’t being picked up as registered correctly. I’m also running Windows 10 x64 using UO Steam. Hope this helps.

I’ve just read up about similar Qt5Xml.dll errors, it seems as though your PC is potentially picking up old redundant installations and probably has a bunch of registry items which is potentially confusing the startup of UO. What you can probably try is the following:

    1. Uninstall UO from add/remove programs
    2. delete all traces of UO from the folder you have it currently installed in
    3. download ccleaner and run the registry cleaner part of it and let it fix everything it finds.
    4. redownload the UO client and patcher from the ZH Omega site and reinstall

Hopefully you find this helpful and it fixes the problem for you! 🙂
