      Is there a plan to introduce rituals at any stage?

      would be awesome. i never got to participate but saw them done ages ago

          We have it added to the long-term to-do list but it will not be like it was back in the day. The rituals created items that were simply too powerful. We will keep the mechanics but we will have it do something else instead. We’re just not sure what yet.

            that will be sick. maybe allow lesser properties to be added to crafted stuff but not the major ones?

                        Will you implement the Young Oak Staff, Ritual Robe and Tome of Rituals in loot too? That’d be my fantasy since 15 years come true. *wink wink*

                            Yeah that will be possible eventually. However we will have to edit the rituals to make it something better suited and balanced for this shard.

                              I really don’t care what the effects are as long as I can perform them again. The journey is the goal, etc. Was pretty slick to have 4 mages all doing a bad-ass ritual. And please, keep Immutability for permanent ritual circle.
                              But I can try to think of some decent rituals effects. Is your ambition “no game altering effects at all”, or “no major game altering effects”? Like recolouring is fine I suppose, but adding affixes to items, maybe not? Repairing items somewhere inbetween?

                                  Right now we have given it zero thought. But no game breaking effects for example Stygian Bow of Devastation of Devastation. Or anything that will unbalance the combat/pvp. Repair is fine. Coloring is fine. So basically as you said “No major game altering effects”

                                    Pushing almost-useful items to be good can maybe work? Like adding speed prefix to weapons, steel prefix to clothing maybe or minor attributes like free action and heal mods?

                                    Maybe incorporating crafter stuff for some nice synergy, as they tend to fall behind a bit in usefulness when gear progression gets far enough (at least I think so..?). Adding minor armor bonus suffixes to armor or durability maybe. Maybe some way to make crafted weapons decent one day… ^^

                                    Or maybe rerolling slayer attributes of a weapon, for a chance to get something better on one that is already awesome expect its slayer sucks?

                                    Also limiting number of rituals performed on an item could help prevent things to get out of hand? If that wasn’t the case already back in the days, idk.

                                    Maybe rituals could be used to bump one (random?) attribute of an item up 1 level. So you won’t get a stygian bow of deva unless you perform it on a stygian bow of vanq.

                                    Making items truly indestructible would be cool too and not very OP ^^
