new ghosting rules

I was a victim of ghosting since the start of the shard……Now i was rusty and did not play for years, i seen this shard i was excited!!! Okay seen in this server you need a team!!!!! PLEASE READ THIS POST!!!!
So what did i decide to do was try to play with the russians and yes i am american…..

Let me tell to about these guys!!!!! I know all zulu oldies played with BRAZIES and remember how they are….. WELL THE RUSSIANS DO NOTHING BUT LOOK FOR BUDS TO EXPLOIT AND ABUSE IN ANYWAY!!!!. I am not making this up or flaming russians… But here is a few things why i left playing with them……

Well first of all EVREYDAY THEY WHERE TESTING STUFF TO ABUSE BUGS!!!!

THEY FIGURED OUT A WAY TO CHANGE THERE CHARACTER NAMES EVREYDAY!!! TO DIFFRENT NAMES
ON DISCORD HE EXPLAIN TO ME AND SENT ME A CHEAT PROGRAM WHICH I NEVER DOWNLOADED AND I GOT RID OF DISCORD AFTER NERVOUS BECAUSE TO ME RUSSIANS ARE KNOWN FOR HACKING

THEY ALSO FIGURED OUT A WAY TO HAVE MORE THEN TWO CLIENT A COMPUTER USING ORION
NOW WHY THIS IS BAD BECAUSE THERE ARE ONLY MAYBE 9 REAL RUSSIANS PLAYING BUT THEY HAVE LITERALLY 6 CHARACTERS ON AND ALL OF THOSE AND MOST CHARACTERS ARE GHOST GUYS IN DUNGS AND EVEN PEOPLE HOUSES!!!!! OHHH AND A FUNNY THING IS THEY CAN CONTROL TWO GUYS AT ONCE USING SOME TYPE OF MIRRIOR PROGRAM!!!!! TO USE TWO GUYS CONTROLING ONE GUY!!!

THEY LITERALLY PLAYED NOT TO HUNT OR PVP BUT THEY WOULD PLAY LITERALLY LOOKING FOR BUGS TO ABUSE I AM NOT KIDDING OR JOKING….. I WAS THE PLAYER ALWAYS WANTED TO HUNT…… THESE GUYS PLAYED 11 HOURS A DAY LOOKING FOR BUGS….AND NOW NOTICE THEY PLAY???? ALOT MORE ITS BECAUSE THEY ARE SATISFIED WITH THE BUGS AND THE PROGRAM THEY USE NOW AND WILL BE ABLE TO KILL MOST!!!!

THEY ALSO KILLED ALL CRAFTERS IN OCCLO AND GOT ALL LOOT TO KEEP???

NOTHING IS BEING DONE TO THESE GUYS????

I AM NOT MAKING THIS UP I AM THE ONLY AMERICAN THAT TRIED TO PLAY WITH THE RUSSIANS AND THEY ARE WORST THEN BRAZIES…..

INSTEAD OF MAKING A POLL TO MAKE THE GAME BETTER LIKE THAT LONG ASS POST SOMEONE POSTED WITH SUGGESTIONS
I SAY WE TAKE A POL IF WE WANT RUSSIANS TO PLAY HERE THE SAME U GUYS BANNED ALL BRAZIES!!!!
THESE GUYS DO NOTHING GOOD FOR THE SHARD AND ARE KILLING IT!!!!!! ITS NOT LIKE THEY GIVE US FAIR PVP OR EVEN WEAR GOOD ITEMS WHILE THEY EXPLOIT BUGS……

I KNOW IM NOT PERFECT AND HATED!!!! BUT THESE GUYS ARE MAKING YOU LOSE LOYAL PLAYER AND OLDIES!!!!! THEY ARE NOT WORTH IT!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE MAKE A POLL TO BANN RUSSIANS BECAUSE THEY DO NOTHING FOR SERVER BUT TRASH IT!!!!!!!

Jailed for Ghosting using a dummy character.

The ghosting rule might be changed even further. Just keep in mind that for now using an inactive character to observe dungeons is not allowed.

Be aware that we are actively looking for people that are attempting to abuse this rule.

which suck is a pig did that to me and my sister two days ago in destard!!!! i lost good gear also but whatever im done bitching about items since they made loot decent to find!!!

BUT A PIG IS A RUSSIAN!!!!!! BANNN HIM PLEASE OR ALL RUSSIANS THEY DONT HUNT OR PVP BUT DO FISHY STUFF LIKE THIS….THEY ARE DRAGGING SERVER DOWN PLEASE CONSIDER BANNNING ALLL THEM!!!! ALLLL NOT JUST ONE GET RID OF THEM!!!!!!

AND IM SO GLAD STAFF GOT A SCREEN SHOT OF IT!!!!

Rules that are not definite and can be interpreted or misjudged will probably only make morale of the shard worse. I can already see some long term problems on the horizon:

1. It gives everyone a reason to bitch and moan about cheating even if nothing wrong actually happened, as in wrongful accusation. That kinda press in the Discord and .chat is going to lower morale and decrease trust in the integrity of the shard.

2. There’s still going to be a small percentage of people who get away with it, as there’s not enough staff to monitor this all the time.

3. It gives players a reason to feel and say that the moderators are acting unfairly. Some situations could perceptually be pretty hard to read, which puts a lot of pressure on the staff to make the judgement calls. Even in a totalitarian 0-tolerance environment, this doesn’t equate good change.

4. It takes a lot of the open-world fun this game has to offer and throws it in the trash. Like schaukoski was saying, if it can be done in the game, its probably best to leave it, unless a new game mechanic can be introduced which either mitigates the problems, or gets rid of them completely.

5. Thief class is definitely over-powered, but removing their ability to hunt victims in dungeons any way they wish drags the class through the mud, and it pretty much completely destroys the interest in the character beyond mild PvM.

Solutions? Well– I’d suggest making Thieves less OP first.

Adjust their ability to hide and stealth slightly downward (maybe higher fail rate for hiding around hostiles, an increased fail rate for both hide/stealth when characters with CHARTYPE IS or HS are around– given that human beings would probably more likely spot someone) and maybe slightly decrease their damage increase per level.

From there really all that needs to be done is getting rid of ghost manifestation and making them always visible. Spying is really the only mechanic that function provides anyhow, unless there’s something beneath the surface I’m not accounting for.

Is all of that stuff really hard to do? Like complicated– or maybe time consuming?
I honestly feel like a huge pain in the ass writing out as much as I do, and expecting others to program and constantly “fix” a shard I get to play for free. I wouldn’t be angry whether you did everything I said or absolutely nothing, to be honest. I just enjoy this shard and want to see it stick around for a while.

This subject needs some voices and attention to detail.

Because i played pp for 20 years.. and made one here but after i macro the pp i find out why didnt i make a thief???….
To me a thief here is a pp… They can rel por use wepons ccant be detetced :(…. Pretty crazy lol

You guys dont play fair and look for bugs all the time :(….And use programs other then razor and uos………….

Would be great if you guys bring pvp to server ETC… But you guys do not….You guys look for tricks and bugs to abuse……You guys dont even hunt…..

Once you find a bug to abuse you exploit on players that worked hard for items man…..

And not like you guys put the items on you…..

Your killing people using bugs and newb items and a thief man :(….. And banking all lol so not like you give anyone pvp… You have a whole guild and i pvpd more players solo then all people in your guild combine….

They dont hunt…… They steal items……….. Find a bug to abuse and they kill people that way……..

People, look at yourself, you dismoraled the Russian people. I hate to read your posts, you are very low in this.
Every day I see in the chat ban Russian players, Russians are bad and crazy.
You yourself daily insult us that we can’t normally answer you and let us know that we don’t care for your opinion.

What you chop in the safe zone is a bonus for you, which you use, rejoice that the staff did this zone for you to chop.
 You cut down a tree and whine – how to endure it ??
You will suffer if the staff is asked to put a captcha on the extraction of resources for every 10 minutes, so that you do not stand on the macro and watch the character, you will groan from discontent and the Russians will again be guilty.

What I want to say about ghosting.
You can make the ghost not see people and chat, it is possible.
But you do not understand the meaning of ghosting at all.

I came to the guild house 1, in my clothes with my drawn charms and stood there and looked, these dissatisfied faces screamed to me that they were dying and threatened to ban without any reason.

Then everyone shouted that we would be banned.

You can call it whatever you like, to me the fact that monsters can’t step over a little chest on the ground is an unintended game mechanic. Staff has made changes to the shard to prevent people from placing items on the ground in dungeons. I think it’s reasonable to assume they’re trying to stop people from blocking monsters.

So look at it again and ???????????
