Rule change regarding item placement

Another minor update to the rules.

Gameplay:

Placing items to block players from leaving or entering points of interest or prevent access to any public area is not allowed. Placing items to create a yard is fine as long as it doesn’t obstruct points of interest.

A minor update to the rules.

Kidnapping NPC’s by luring them into your house is illegal. Taming and Spellbinding is fine.

This means that using discordance, herding, etc… to lure NPC’s to an enclosed private space without capturing them (becoming owner) is illegal.

The reason why is because these NPC’s will not re-spawn until they are killed.

Scheduled Maintenance 14-04-20 8pm-9pm

As mentioned in the announcement channel. We are getting a new server. This means I will have to set it up on Tuesday and move all the stuff over. I will try to do this as fast as possible and hopefully keep the downtime to a minimum.

While we’re at it we will also do some changes.

  • Fixed an issue with multi casting monsters not hitting anything with their spells.
  • Fixed various debug messages.
  • Fixed a bug where monsters/npcs who should have died didn’t.
  • Fixed an issue where bosses would not have full health after a restart.
  • Added an blocker to allow the shard to load properly before letting players logon for the first 5 minutes.
  • Fixed some issues with color war system.
  • Changed the reward of the color war system.
  • It’s now possible to cut 60k stacks of fish without loosing any fish steaks, if you are too heavy to carry it will drop the steaks on the ground.
  • Fixed a bug with rangers calculations of percentages for spec.

[CANCELED] Scheduled maintenance 10-04-20 at 7:00pm server time

We will be doing shard maintenance this Friday. Due to a server crash I have decided to add the fixes now. The crash will be looked into and will probably cause an unscheduled reboot to apply a hotfix later this week.

– Orc masks can now be bought as guild clothing.
– .ph command now shows the time left until next powerhour if no powerhour is currently active, otherwise if one is active it will tell you which kind is active.

– Fixed various error messages.

Unscheduled maintenance 04-04-20

Due to some issues we encountered yesterday we have decided to apply some hotfixes. We also added some new changes which you can read below.

– Fixed some problems with color wars.
– Reworked how dungeon teleporters work when created.
– You can no longer use the unstuck feature while Color Warring.
– Fixed conflicts in the code.
– Fixed a bug that made Vortex minion not equip a weapon.
– Added some extra checks to make sure rewards are movable.
– Quest/CW tokens are now newbiefied.

PVM Changes

  • Champion spawns now respawn randomly any time between 5-7 days. Respawn time will be broadcasted prior to respawn.
  • Bosses have one elemental protection at 120%, the others are at 20%.
  • Super Bosses have one elemental protection at 120%, the others are at 40%.

Class Changes

  • Warrior class bonus to healing slightly reduced by 1/6.
  • Warrior class penalty of increased magic damage taken reduced by 1/6.
  • Mage class penalty of increased physical damage taken reduced by 1/6.

Item Changes

  • Staves are now 2 tiles.

  • Horses should now resurrect with the correct colors.
  • Fixed a compilation error.
  • You can now make over 60k stacks of bandages at once.
  • When cutting cloth to bandages with scissors it should no longer make the cloth just disappear. If you don’t have enough space it will put the created bandages on the ground.
  • Player-merchants will no longer try to hand you gold if you don’t have space for it.
  • Saves should now be every 60 minutes.
  • Wall sconces are now sell-able.
  • Admins can now change spawnpoints.
  • Writing desks are now lockable, however it will still not open like a container because that would require client updates.
  • You can no longer entwine an item that is already entwined.
  • Bug that would allow you to increase your cap over 150 fixed.
  • You should no longer gain any skill from using your classe weapons.
  • House teleporters will now only work for friends/co-owners/owners.
  • You can no longer place beehives in towns/safe zones/no pk zones or too close to each other.
  • Gaia’s wrath on weapon/armor pieces should now work correctly.
  • Earthquake is now castable while running.
  • Deaths in PvP arena now have more checks to make sure all items gets returned correctly.
  • Fixed a NPC cmd to make it easier for staff to host events.
  • Bowcraft will now name exceptional bows correctly.
  • Added more restrictions on where you can plant seeds and trees.
